Data Collection

TradeSync does NOT collect, store, or transmit any user data to our servers. All data processing happens locally in your browser.

What data the extension accesses

• Notion API Token: Stored locally in Chrome's synced storage. Used only to communicate directly with the Notion API from your browser. Never sent to any third-party server.
• Trade data: CSV files you upload and data scraped from broker pages are processed entirely in your browser. Trade data is sent only to your own Notion workspace via the official Notion API.
• License key: Verified locally using cryptographic validation. No server call is made.
• Sync history: A log of past sync operations (counts only, no trade details) is stored locally.

Data sharing

We do NOT share any data with third parties. The extension communicates only with:

• api.notion.com — to read/write your Notion databases (using your own API token)

Data storage

All settings and history are stored in Chrome's built-in storage APIs. No external databases, analytics, or tracking services are used.

Permissions

• storage — save your settings and sync history
• Host access to api.notion.com — communicate with Notion API
• Host access to robinhood.com and interactivebrokers.com — inject sync button on broker pages
